THESE THINGS HIDE IN OUR FUCKING HOUSE I’M SCARED ALL THE FUCKING TIME NOW
So, I caught a wolf spider (?) just now. It has babies on the underside abdomen. I have named her Shannon after a friend of mine who is really into etymology. She’s about as big as a silver dollar.

I am possibly alone in thinking this, but…
I think wolf spiders are really cute.I watched the episode of Life in the Undergrowth about silk-spinners last night and found myself really taken by these fascinating little arachnids. I was so inspired by them, I think I will craft one into a Konichiwa, Twinklestah! character…so watch this space!
(I’m not sure others will share my sentiment that a little acrylic spider hanging from a charm necklace is cute, but here’s hoping!)
